Memories

A series of conferences highlighting veterinary virology in Australia have been held in Sydney and Melbourne since 1994 to honour the contributions of prominent Australian veterinary virologists.  The fourth conference scheduled in Melbourne from the 27th to the 29th of September 2006 will be held in honour of Michael Studdert, and follows conferences held to honour Peter Spradbrow in 2001, Margaret Sabine in 1998 and Eric French in 1994.  These conferences are broadly aimed to encompass virus diseases of animals and where appropriate highlight the contributions of Michael Studdert and his students to veterinary virology.

The Conference will be held in the Bio 21 Institute at The University of Melbourne, 30 Flemington Road, Parkville, VIC, Australia
