ICIP aims to bring together
practitioners, policy makers and academics from around the world to
share their experiences, learn from one another and discuss the future
development of intergenerational programs, research and policies. As an
international multi-disciplinary organisation ICIP focuses on promoting
intergenerational strategies and public policies from a global
perspective.
The 2006 Melbourne
conference builds on the aims of the previous two ICIP conferences to
provide a forum for national and international academics, policy makers
and practitioners to advance a shared understanding of how
intergenerational programs act as agents of social change and to promote
the development of intergenerational programs and practices.
Plenary
sessions for the conference will be held at the Swanson Room, Melbourne
Town Hall, The Concurrent sessions will be held at Victoria University,
level level 12, 300 Flinders Street, Melbourne
